The Arteflame XXL 40-Inch Flat-Top Grill with Tall Euro Base combines a large solid-steel griddle with a center grill grate for versatile wood-fired outdoor cooking. With more than 1,250 square inches of cooking surface, the 40-inch format provides ample space for preparing multiple foods around a single central fire.
The grill features a 1/2-inch solid steel flat-top cooktop surrounded by a CORTEN steel fire bowl. The tall Euro base brings the cooking surface to a 40-inch height, creating a standing-height setup for outdoor cooking and entertaining.

Large Flat-Top Cooking Surface
The continuous solid-steel cooktop provides a broad griddle surface surrounding the center fire. It can be used for foods such as vegetables, burgers, bacon, eggs, seafood, pancakes, and other foods that benefit from a solid cooking surface.
The center grill grate provides a dedicated area for direct grilling over the fire. Using both areas together allows different foods to be prepared simultaneously at different positions on the cooking surface.
Tall Euro Base
The Tall Euro Base raises the grill to a 40-inch overall height, providing a standing-height cooking configuration. Its sculpted CORTEN steel design gives the grill a distinctive profile while supporting the fire bowl and cooktop.
CORTEN Steel Construction
The grill body and Euro base are constructed from high-grade CORTEN weathering steel. When exposed to outdoor conditions, CORTEN develops a natural weathered patina that becomes part of the grill's appearance over time.
From Grill to Fire Pit
After cooking, the fire bowl can be removed from the stand and used as a standalone fire pit. This allows the same unit to function as an outdoor cooking station and an open fire bowl.
Wood or Charcoal Fuel
The XXL 40 is designed for wood-fired and charcoal cooking. Hardwood and lump charcoal can be used as fuel depending on the desired cooking setup.

Care and Maintenance
After cooking, scrape food residue from the warm carbon steel cooktop and apply a light coat of cooking oil to maintain the seasoned cooking surface. Allow the grill and fire to cool completely before removing ash.
Avoid harsh chemical cleaners on the carbon steel cooktop. Follow appropriate fire-safety practices and local requirements when operating the grill outdoors.
