The Arteflame Classic 40-Inch Grill with Tall Round Base combines a large solid-steel flat-top cooktop with a center grill grate for versatile outdoor cooking. With more than 1,250 square inches of cooking surface, the 40-inch format provides room to grill and griddle multiple foods at the same time, making it well suited for family meals, entertaining, and larger outdoor gatherings.

The grill features a 1/2-inch solid carbon steel cooktop surrounded by a CORTEN steel fire bowl and tall round base. It uses wood or lump charcoal and can also transition from a cooking surface into a standalone fire pit when the bowl is removed from the base.

Large Flat-Top Cooking Surface

The 1/2-inch carbon steel cooktop provides a broad continuous cooking surface around the center fire. The open surface can be used for foods that benefit from a solid griddle, while the included center grate provides a dedicated area for direct grilling.

The large 40-inch format provides multiple cooking zones across the cooktop, allowing different foods to be prepared at varying distances from the center fire.

Center Grill Grate

The included center grill grate places food directly over the central fire for open-flame grilling. It can be used alongside the surrounding flat-top cooktop, giving the grill both griddle and traditional grill functionality.

Tall Round Base

The Tall Round Base raises the 40-inch grill to a 40-inch overall height, creating a standing-height configuration for outdoor cooking and entertaining. The sculpted round base is constructed from CORTEN weathering steel to coordinate with the grill body.

CORTEN Steel Construction

The grill body and base use high-grade CORTEN weathering steel. When exposed to outdoor conditions, CORTEN develops a natural rust-colored patina that becomes part of the grill's appearance over time.

From Grill to Fire Pit

The fire bowl can be removed from the stand and used as a standalone fire pit. This allows the same Arteflame unit to serve as an outdoor cooking surface during meals and an open fire bowl after cooking.

Care and Maintenance

After cooking, scrape food residue and excess oil toward the center fire while the cooktop is still warm. Wipe the carbon steel surface with a light coat of cooking oil to maintain its seasoned surface and help protect it during cooling.

Allow the grill to cool completely before removing ash. Keep the drainage openings clear and avoid harsh chemical cleaners or heavy scrubbing on the seasoned carbon steel cooktop.
