The Arteflame Classic 40-Inch Grill with Storage Base combines a large flat-top cooking surface, center grill grate, and integrated storage in one outdoor cooking system. With more than 1,250 square inches of cooking space, the 40-inch grill provides room to grill, griddle, warm, and prepare multiple foods around a single wood or lump charcoal fire.

The cooktop is made from 1/2-inch solid carbon steel and surrounds a removable center grill grate. The CORTEN steel body and integrated storage base provide a dedicated place to keep grilling tools, wood, charcoal, and accessories close to the cooking area.

Large Flat-Top Cooking Surface

The continuous 1/2-inch solid steel cooktop provides a broad surface for griddling and outdoor cooking. Its flat design accommodates foods such as vegetables, burgers, bacon, eggs, seafood, and other foods that are better suited to a solid cooking surface than traditional open grill grates.

The center grill grate provides a separate area for direct open-flame grilling. Using both surfaces together allows different foods to be cooked around the same central fire.

Integrated Storage Base

The storage base provides convenient space beneath the cooking area for keeping grilling tools, charcoal, firewood, and other outdoor cooking accessories close at hand. It also gives the 40-inch grill its standing-height configuration.

CORTEN Steel Construction

The grill body and storage base are constructed from high-grade CORTEN weathering steel. With outdoor exposure, CORTEN develops a natural weathered patina that becomes part of the grill's appearance over time.

From Grill to Fire Pit

The fire bowl can be removed from the stand after cooking and used as a standalone fire pit. This allows the grill to serve as an outdoor cooking station during meals and an open fire bowl afterward.

Precision Airflow Design

The Arteflame design incorporates airflow openings at the base of the fire bowl to provide air to the fire from below. The system operates without fans, batteries, or electronics.

Accessory Options

Care and Maintenance

After cooking, scrape food residue from the warm carbon steel cooktop and apply a light coat of cooking oil to maintain the seasoned surface. Allow the grill to cool completely before removing ash.

Avoid harsh chemical cleaners on the carbon steel cooktop. Keep drainage and airflow openings clear and follow appropriate fire-safety practices when operating the grill outdoors.
