The Arteflame 40-Inch Stainless Steel Grill & Griddle with Euro Base combines a large solid-steel flat-top cooktop with a center grill grate for versatile outdoor cooking. With more than 1,250 square inches of cooking space, the 40-inch format provides room to grill, griddle, and prepare multiple foods around a single wood or charcoal fire.

The grill features a spun stainless steel fire bowl, a 1/2-inch solid steel cooktop, and a tall Euro-style base made from powder-coated steel. The 40-inch height provides a standing-height cooking setup suited to outdoor entertaining and larger gatherings.

Grill and Griddle in One

The solid steel cooktop provides a broad flat cooking surface around the center fire. Its griddle-style surface can be used for foods such as burgers, vegetables, eggs, bacon, pancakes, seafood, and other foods that benefit from a solid cooking surface.

The center grill grate provides a dedicated area for direct open-flame grilling. The combination allows griddle cooking and traditional grilling to take place on the same cooking system.

Stainless Steel Fire Bowl

The fire bowl is spun from stainless steel, giving the grill a bright, contemporary appearance. The stainless construction provides an alternative to Arteflame's CORTEN steel models and does not develop the same rust-colored weathering patina.

High Euro Base

The Euro Base raises the grill to a 40-inch standing height. Its open-leg design provides a more compact footprint than the enclosed Storage Base configuration and uses black powder-coated steel for the base structure.

From Grill to Fire Pit

After cooking, the fire bowl can be removed from the stand and used as a standalone fire pit. This allows the same unit to function as an outdoor cooking station during meals and an open fire bowl afterward.

Wood or Charcoal Fuel

The grill is designed for hardwood or lump charcoal. The fire bowl also includes a center opening sized for a 1-inch gas pipe, allowing the unit to be converted to gas by a qualified professional installer.

Care and Maintenance

After cooking, scrape food residue from the warm carbon steel cooktop and apply a light coat of cooking oil to maintain the seasoned cooking surface. Allow the grill and fire to cool completely before removing ash.

Avoid harsh chemical cleaners on the carbon steel cooktop. Keep the fire bowl's drainage openings clear and follow applicable outdoor fire-safety requirements when operating the grill.
